My Philosophy
My philosophy as a certified nutrition consultant involves optimizing good digestion. Our health is determined by our ability to optimally digest the foods we eat by allowing the body’s absorption of nutrients. We are what we eat and absorb. In addition, a healthy digestive system allows for the elimination of toxins from our bodies.
We are all biophysical individuals. This means that there is no one-size-fits-all diet or protocol for everyone. One individual may be sensitive to a particular food that is typically considered healthy, where another individual will have no sensitivities to that same food. We all need individual, customized methods to dietary and lifestyle habits since we all came from different health backgrounds and conditions.
Through my non-dogmatic, nonjudgmental, and compassionate approach, I strive to educate others to start taking control of their health. I firmly believe, in order to be successful in our health journey, we must begin by taking small steps toward change. Forming new dietary and lifestyle habits become easier with practice, support, and a positive attitude.

“I believe in eating S.O.U.L. food:”
Seasonal
Seasonal- Our bodies respond to eating with the season. Different fruits and vegetables in a given area are available at different times of the year. This is nature’s intention.
Organic
Organic- Eating a variety of organic colorful vegetables and fruits provide us with many phytonutrients that play an important role in our health. Eating organic avoids exposure to toxic chemicals used in pesticides, and genetically modified organisms (GMO’s).
Unrefined
Unrefined- Eating whole unrefined foods keeps their nutrients intact. Refined and proceed foods lack nutrient value and have become the standard American diet (SAD) which has led to today’s obesity epidemic . These refined foods contain unhealthy fats, artificial ingredients, and are loaded with sugar.
Local
Local- When possible, eat locally sourced produce. Farmers' markets are a great source for locally grown or raised food. eLocal seasonal fruits and vegetable that have been allowed to ripen, and are freshly harvested, have a higher nutrient value than produce that is harvested before ripening and has to travel further distances to get to the grocery store.
Shop My Virtual Dispensaries
Even when we have a balanced diet of eating nutrient dense foods, we may need to supplement with vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and herbs to support specific functions. I offer my clients a discount on my virtual dispensary with Fullscript which has over 300 professional high-quality brands of supplements and other health care items. Fullscript takes your privacy seriously and is HIPAA and PCI compliant which means your transactions are safe and secure. You can order from the convenience of your computer. Your items will be delivered to your door.
In addition to diet, we need to keep our bodies moving. The best exercise is one that you will enjoy and stick with. Other important lifestyle habits include sufficient sleep, stress management, and avoiding toxins in our environment when possible.
I always make it a point to learn more about nutrition, wellness, and health-related studies to help my clients achieve their health goals. I aim to educate, inspire, and empower my clients to make healthy food choices and implement and maintain healthy habits.
